Reservations

Reservations are available to book with arrival dates 6 months out from todays date.    For example May 1st will allow an arrival date of November 1st.

We would also like to take a moment to thank all our valued guests for visiting us, and announce campground improvements are under way.  After many decades of County & State Planning our permits have been finalized. We have started construction on a waste water treatment facility on the property. This will bring the ability to replace the portable restrooms with flushing toilets & showers, and further campground upgrades!  

**This is a large project and we don't have a finalization date available at this time as some building permits are pending and availability of some materials are delayed due to the supply chain**

CANCELATION/CHANGE POLICY:

Any cancellation request received more than 5 days in advance (your arrival date does not count) of your arrival date will be charged $25.00 per campsite and the remaining paid balance will be refunded to the original payment method (gift certificate/voucher payments will generate a new gift certificate/voucher). Any cancellation request received 5 days or less in advance of your arrival date will RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF THE ENTIRE RESERVATION.

Changes to reservations- 
Changing dates or shortening a stay is considered a cancelation and will require canceling the reservation minus $25 fee per campsite and require rebooking a new reservation.

Facilities

  • Water is located along the roads throughout most of the campground area.
  • 1 Picnic table is assigned to each site, and fire rings are scattered throughout the area.
  • Dogs on leash are allowed and there is no additional charge to bring the family pet to the beach with you. Dog owners must pick up after their dogs - waste bags are located at the front entrance and near the boathouse. Aggressive dogs and their owners will be asked to leave.
  • Portable toilets including ADA accessible are placed throughout the campground .
  • Please note that there are no shower or laundry facilities and only sites 501-510 and 518-527 have power hookups.
  • Trash/recycling stations are located throughout the campground. 
  • Two RV waste stations.
  • The Boathouse located within the campground is open daily with; gifts, beer, wine, wood, ice, oysters (Friday through Sunday only) snacks, beverages, camping supplies, and fishing & clamming gear.

rules

  1. The number of vehicles permitted vary by site. Some sites allow 1 vehicle, others allow 2. Only 1 RV is permitted regardless of the number of vehicles permitted for that site. There are no more than two vehicles allowed on a campsite and only one can be an RV.  A vehicle plus a towed trailer or vehicle counts as one RV.  Again, only one (1) RV per site.
  2. A numbered campsite has been assigned to you for the duration of your stay. Your vehicle, trailer, tent and other assorted items need to be located within the site you have been assigned. Parking for the walk-in tent sites is in the designated parking area only. You must return to the gate if you wish to be assigned a different campsite.
  3. Check-in time is 1:00 P.M. Check-out time is 12:00 P.M. noon. Adding additional nights must be done at the entry gate before noon or your site may be assigned to someone else.
  4. No camping, people or vehicles allowed in the ditches. The rope fences bordering the campsite indicate this boundary.
  5. Campfires permitted only in campsites. No digging of pits. If necessary you may build your fire on the grass. Only clean wood and paper may be burned. Glass, plastic, food waste, metal items and other trash may not be burned. Please dispose of these items in the proper receptacle. Campfires should be extinguished and cooled before leaving unattended. Do not leave hot coals.
  6. Speed limit is 5 mph. Speeders will be told to leave. “Cruising” at any time is not permitted.
  7. DANGER! Do not dig sand caves or tunnels as they may collapse without warning and may be fatal.
  8. Keep your camp clean - a dirty camp will result in immediate expulsion. Use dumpsters.
  9. All guests must be at least 21 years of age unless accompanied by someone 25 years of age or older. Possession of alcohol by minors is forbidden. Minors are to be back in camp by dark.
  10. Generator use from 8am to 9pm only, excessively loud generators are not allowed. Quiet time is 9pm to 8am.
  11. Highway licensed vehicles, golf carts (Licensed drivers only) and electric scooters may be used. Daylight hours only for carts and scooters. Gas scooters are not allowed.
  12. Operate vehicles in camp area only. No hill climbing.
  13. Thefts do occur. Safeguard valuables, ice chests, etc.
  14. Return tag to gateman or return box on exiting.
  15. All pets must be kept on leash. Horses and horseback riding are not allowed.
  16. No shooting, archery or fireworks permitted.
  17. No beach or dune camping.
